QSR Automations has an immediate opening for an exceptionally driven and highly accountable, results-oriented individual for the role of Solutions Architect.
Role:
Reporting to the VP of Software Development, the Solutions Architect will work closely with development and infrastructure teams to maintain and develop cloud-native solutions in line with business goals with a focus on security, reliability, and scalability.
Responsibilities:
– Lead the planning, design, troubleshooting and engineering of large-scale, high-volume cloud web services
– Research new tools and technologies for use within the business
– Assist in the troubleshooting of architecture and deploy timely fixes
– Collaborate and lead discussions with multiple teams to develop solution architectures
– Assume the role of technical expert and consultant to develop and propose solutions that meet the technology and business requirements of customers
– Work independently with minimal supervision
– Build rapid prototypes to evaluate potential solutions
– Participate in code reviews to ensure security, scalability, and adherence to standards
– Ensure best practices and integration across the different development/product teams
Required Skills and Traits:
– 10 or more years of experience in software development/engineering
– Working knowledge of C# and .NET Core Framework
– Experience delivering solutions on a cloud platform (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP)
– Ability to design and query relational databases
– Experience with modern enterprise-scale web applications, data streaming, and warehousing
– Demonstrated history working in collaborative team environments, setting priorities, and achieving results
– Hands-on experience with Docker/container-based applications
– Ability to serve as a technical leader and mentor
– Strong critical and creative thinking skills
– Strong analytical skills
– Desire to be on the cutting edge of software engineering
Preferred Skills and Traits:
– Experience with Kubernetes
– Experience with web services
– Agile/Scrum methodology knowledge
– Microsoft Azure Solution Architect or Google Cloud Architect certification
– Bachelor’s degree or higher
