Sophisticated Key Technology
Most bump bars in the industry use a metal dome switch key technology, which require near perfect pushes in the center of the key with a flat instrument (i.e. a finger) to function properly and maintain a typical published rating of three million pushes. The KP-4000’s sophisticated key technology is not only highly resilient and consistently functions with less than perfect pushes, it also offers an enhanced tactile feel with better response. The user receives an immediate response as well as a “click” feel, which serves to verify the push and eliminate extra pushes.
Open and Flexible
The KP-4000 can be mounted on a tabletop or wall using QSR’s bracketing options or third party brackets. With its reliable, purpose-built design, the KP-4000 can be easily and cost-effectively installed in the working areas of the kitchen and up to 100 feet away from the controller.
Adding to its solid construction and flexibility, operators have the choice of configuring any or all of the KP-4000’s twenty keys, and customizable overlays can be easily slid into place without the use of tools.
With its standard PS/2 connection, the KP-4000 can be used in conjunction with QSR’s solutions, including the ePic video controllers and eXpert hospitality controller, as well as third party devices.
