1996:

Founding the company in 1996, QSR offered the industry’s first completely redundant, fully configurable hardware and software kitchen system.

1997:

Moving to a windows environment then set the stage for many robust enhancements to the product.

1998:

In 1998, QSR pioneered kitchen software solutions for the table service industry and also introduced the market’s first ethernet based kitchen hardware solution.

2001:

Adding to this highly reliable, easy-to-implement, and cost-effective hardware system, QSR converted our powerful kitchen management software to an XML-based architecture in 2001.

QSR has continued to enhance our ePic KDS software with features and functionality that grow with our customers’ businesses.

2002:

QSR then followed with another industry first – the first fully integrated kitchen alerts capabilities.

This open and flexible hardware and software system has today evolved into our ePic Kitchen Management Solution.

2003:

And to demonstrate our commitment to answering the hospitality industry’s need for sophisticated automation technology, QSR added our ConnectSmart Hospitality Automation Solution. As part of the ConnectSmart solution, QSR launched another powerful device in our family of hardware products for multi-media management of robust kitchen applications. QSR then introduced an innovative graphical kitchen management software.

2005:

Capitalizing on the expertise gained over years of working with the leading casual dining operators, QSR launched the industry’s only table management application that not only links to the point-of-sale, but also takes into account critical production information. With QSR, complete kitchen management connects with complete table management .

2006:

With a focus on continuously providing innovations and choices, in 2006 QSR introduced our newest models of the ePic video controller and eXpert hospitality controller. In addition to a new compact and sleek enclosure as well as other enhancements, these newest models offer even more options for table service, quick service, and other operators of mission critical kitchen environments around the world.

 

2007:

Filling the mission critical voids left by point-of-sale and backoffice systems, QSR launched the new reservations and guest messaging applications as part of our comprehensive, combined ConnectSmart solution, further ensuring users of the QSR solutions can manage and capture the entire guest experience.

 

2008:

In addition to ongoing kitchen and table management solution innovations, the year 2008 brings even more enhancements with web-based call ahead and reservations capabilities.

Today, QSR offers advanced kitchen management technology for every hospitality environment. As we continue to enhance our solutions and expand our product lines to include new solutions, our complete kitchen management solutions remain at the core of our commitment to connecting hospitality businesses with success.
